Dr Greenburg is elderly probably ready to retire but he cares for the animals and I think he charges just cost One never has to worry about cost of taking your friend to the vet. In fact getting my flea protection and heartguard is cheaper from him. I believe he could use the money He also is a shelter vet which is how I initally found him. MY dog now has cancer which he diagnosed but he is not arrogant enough to think he can treat everything he refers when needed. Knowing money wss an issue with me he looked up studies which my dog could enter at no cost I did not ask for this. He is just doing what he loves and wants people not to avoid going to vet due to costs
